Be LOVE in the World!
Our Global Justice Team has alerted us to the needs of the The Street Outreach Van and is asking for your help. They are in need of some specific food items for their clients. So rather than ask you to go out and purchase the items, we are asking you to donate money so that we can arrange to purchase the items in bulk. This way we can pay less for the items and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation. Good stewardship all round.
So, if you would like to help the homeless in our neighbourhood please, make a designated offering via e-transfer Please make sure you designate your contribution for the Outreach Van and the Global Justice Team will make sure that the packaged goods are delivered to the Van. If you have any questions just send an email to holycrosslutheran@rogers.com and Cherilyn will fill you in.
It’s been a long cold winter and this is one way for you to be LOVE in the world by feeding the homeless in our neighbourhood.
