Our Global Justice Team has alerted us to the needs of the The Street Outreach Van and is asking for your help. They are in need of some specific food items for their clients. So rather than ask you to go out and purchase the items, we are asking you to donate money so that we can arrange to purchase the items in bulk. This way we can pay less for the items and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation. Good stewardship all round.
So, if you would like to help the homeless in our neighbourhood please, make a designated offering via e-transfer Please make sure you designate your contribution for the Outreach Van and the Global Justice Team will make sure that the packaged goods are delivered to the Van. If you have any questions just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and Cherilyn will fill you in.
It’s been a long cold winter and this is one way for you to be LOVE in the world by feeding the homeless in our neighbourhood.

During Black History Month, our Eastern Synod Racial Justice Advisory Committee is challenging us to learn! Throughout the month of February, the RJAC calls us to explore the resources that they have compiled: podcasts, videos, books, articles, and academic chapters from members of the RJAC…and then to share our learnings, and the experience with others!
